DANIEL W. ROSE – DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Dan’s empathetic understanding of catastrophic rehabilitation has empowered him to develop a great passion for the healthcare delivery system. Dan is active as an advocate of creating seamless transparent continuums of care throughout the healthcare spectrum. In addition Dan is an accomplished healthcare public speaker presenting numerous conference presentations across the country on such topics as Cognitive Learning, Managed Care Contracting, Negotiation Skills, Healthcare Marketing Strategies and Brain Injury.

Dan’s healthcare clinical background is in Occupational Therapy as a COTA. From 1997 to 2006 Dan functioned as a Medical Rehabilitation Surveyor for the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) specializing in Acute, Subacute and Brain Injury Rehabilitation. Dan also has performed an array of civic and professional activities such as, President of BIA of MI Support Group, Board Member of the MOTA Council on Education, Chairperson of the Brain Injury Association of Michigan Golf Outing, Board of Directors of the American Subacute Care Association, National Advisory Committee Medical Rehabilitation Standards, Advisory Committee for the State of Michigan Long Term Care Initiative, SEMTBIS Peer Mentoring Research project, Board Member of Michigan Sports Unlimited and Board Member of Henry Ford – Macomb Hospital Foundation, Chairperson of the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital – Harvest Moon Ball.

Dan’s dedication to the healthcare delivery system and education have also encouraged him to develop two IRB approved clinical research projects looking at enhancing the post operative care of amputee patients, serving as Principle and Co-Investigator.

DAVID BROWN – OHIO – DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

I have been a below knee amputee for over 45 years. After receiving a B.A. in Marketing from Michigan State, I had a long successful career in the Food Service Industry with some powerhouse companies such as, Pepsi, Kraft Foods, and Sara Lee Coffee and Tea. Being an amputee I now serve a patient population that I feel especially passionate about. I enjoy the challenge of directing MedSupply to achieving the highest level of patient care & satisfaction, while navigating the division thru todays ever changing healthcare environment.

MIKE SMITH – PROSTHETIST

Mike Smith is Certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Prosthetics. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo in Canada and his Clinical Prosthetic education at George Brown College in Toronto. He completed his residency at Hanger Orthopedic and has continued to work in Michigan for the last 14 years. He has over 22 years of experience in the prosthetics field. His interests include pre – amputation counseling, early post operative prosthetic care and lifetime prosthetic care as the amputees needs evolve. Mike is Certified in the Otto Bock Harmony System, Otto Bock Microprocessor knee systems including the C-Leg and the Ossur Power Knee as well as other specialty components. Mike provides exceptional care and has a passion to help his amputee clients.

RANDALL ROSS – PROSTHETIST

Randall Ross is a BOC certified Prosthetist. He has been in the prosthetic field since his apprenticeship in 1971. Randy attended Northwestern Medical school in Chicago for prosthetics 1974-75. Randy is also a BOC Certified Technician in Prosthetics. He has attended courses in components , techniques of casting, gait management, and therapeutic techniques. Randy has worked for multiple vascular surgeons and multiple hospital systems during his 40 plus years of experience. He has remained up-to-date with the latest fitting techniques and microprocessor controlled components for upper and lower extremities. He enjoys Detroit professional sports and festivals all across Michigan.

STACEY RICHARDSON – ORTHOTIST

Stacey Richardson, CO is an American Board for Certification (ABC) certified Orthotist. She graduated from University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, completed her orthotics education at Northwestern University Prosthetics and Orthotics Center and her orthotics residency at Wright and Fillipis. Over the past 10 years, she has developed skills in a range of orthotic fields including, pediatric management, cranial remolding helmets, spinal chord injury and muscular dystrophy management, and podiatric wound care. She is a certified Jobst custom lymphedema compression garment fitter. She enjoys finding innovative methods to improve the lives of her patients.

CAROLYN M. PATTERSON – RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

Carolyn is a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and she is licensed (LRT) in the states of Michigan and Ohio. In June of 1989, she graduated from the St. John Hospital School of Respiratory Therapy and Technology in Detroit, Michigan. During her career she has worked in the hospital setting, including ICU, sleep labs, extended care facilities and home care. She has experience with all age groups and specializes in PAP and oxygen therapy, as well as tracheostomy patients. Carolyn’s passion for excellence in patient care is unsurpassed.

BILL NEU – CPO – CERTIFIED PROSTHETIST / ORTHOTIST

I started my prosthetic and orthotics education in 1978 at Cerritos College in Cerritos California.  I completed my post graduate education at Shelby State College in Memphis Tennessee where I completed all of the short terms courses offered as well as a program for the VA for fluid control devises.  My ABC certification in Prosthetics was achieved in 1986 with the expansion into Orthotics in 1996.

I have served within the field of P&O in different capacities, as an ABC certification examiner and as the president of the Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of P&O. I have also trained with Myopro and Aqualeg.

I’m married with two children and enjoy hunting and golfing.  I look forward to seeing patients for MedSupply and helping them get back on the feet.
