Meet the Team

DANIEL W. ROSE – DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, ORTHOTICS & PROSTHETICS

Dan’s empathetic understanding of catastrophic rehabilitation has empowered him to develop a great passion for the healthcare delivery system. Dan is active as an advocate of creating seamless transparent continuums of care throughout the healthcare spectrum. In addition Dan is an accomplished healthcare public speaker presenting numerous conference presentations across the country on such topics as Cognitive Learning, Managed Care Contracting, Negotiation Skills, Healthcare Marketing Strategies and Brain Injury.

Dan’s healthcare clinical background is in Occupational Therapy as a COTA. From 1997 to 2006 Dan functioned as a Medical Rehabilitation Surveyor for the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) specializing in Acute, Subacute and Brain Injury Rehabilitation. Dan also has performed an array of civic and professional activities such as, President of BIA of MI Support Group, Board Member of the MOTA Council on Education, Chairperson of the Brain Injury Association of Michigan Golf Outing, Board of Directors of the American Subacute Care Association, National Advisory Committee Medical Rehabilitation Standards, Advisory Committee for the State of Michigan Long Term Care Initiative, SEMTBIS Peer Mentoring Research project, Board Member of Michigan Sports Unlimited and Board Member of Henry Ford – Macomb Hospital Foundation, Chairperson of the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital – Harvest Moon Ball.

Dan’s dedication to the healthcare delivery system and education have also encouraged him to develop two IRB approved clinical research projects looking at enhancing the post operative care of amputee patients, serving as Principle and Co-Investigator.

MIKE SMITH – CLINICAL DIRECTOR & PROSTHETIST

Mike Smith is Certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Prosthetics. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo in Canada and his Clinical Prosthetic education at George Brown College in Toronto. He completed his residency at Hanger Orthopedic and has continued to work in Michigan for the last 14 years. He has over 22 years of experience in the prosthetics field. His interests include pre – amputation counseling, early post operative prosthetic care and lifetime prosthetic care as the amputees needs evolve. Mike is Certified in the Otto Bock Harmony System, Otto Bock Microprocessor knee systems including the C-Leg and the Ossur Power Knee as well as other specialty components. Mike provides exceptional care and has a passion to help his amputee clients.

MORGAN GENORE – LAB SUPERVISOR & PROSTHETIC/ORTHOTIC FABRICATOR

Morgan joined Med Supply in 2022 after working at the University of Michigan for over three years. She studied Orthotics & Prosthetics at Baker College in Owosso, Michigan. Morgan enjoys creating unique prosthetics with custom aesthetics specialized to each patient.

SCOTT FAGER – ORTHOTIST

Scott Fager, CO is an American Board of Certification (ABC) Certified Orthotist. He graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in Health Fitness. Over the past 20 years Scott has worked with wide array of patients including, post polio, stroke, wound care, off the shelf and custom shoes. Scott believes that it is important to treat the whole person and not just the effected extremity to provide the best possible long term outcome.
